The faces behind MIRRIM, a team of experienced coaches who combine behavioral science with genuine care. Each brings unique expertise, insight, and perspective, helping individuals, teams, and organizations grow with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Susan Simpson
Founder & CEO
Susan brings decades of experience in leadership coaching and organizational development. With a warm, insight-driven approach, she helps individuals and teams align with their purpose and grow toward their potential.
Susan’s coaching approach blends self-reflection with critical thinking to help leaders navigate their most pressing challenges. With a background in industrial engineering, she brings a keen eye for process integration and optimization, developed through years of experience in both corporate and startup environments.
She deepened her cross-cultural coaching expertise while partnering with a psychology professor at St. Petersburg State University in Russia, equipping future professionals to handle complex conversations with clarity and confidence. In 2009, she formalized her training through the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
For over a decade, Susan worked with an Inc. 5000 fastest growing software company coaching internally, consulting across departments, and delivering training to 67 organizations.
Beyond her coaching practice, Susan served for six years on the board of a global nonprofit with >5,000 staff from 70 nationalities, working in 130 languages. She advised the People and Benefits team and led the annual review process for the organization’s international executive director.

Michael Simpson
Chief Strategy Officer
Michael has 25+ years of tech industry experience in startups, mid-market and Fortune 500, holding positions of Founder, Chairman, CEO, CMO, Biz Dev, Product Marketing, Sales Engineering, Executive Coach, and Consultant.
Michael has coached leaders in manufacturing, tech, services, government, sports and nonprofit industries across six countries. Led 3 successful acquisitions and implemented and/or consulted on 21 other M&A transactions. His last company was awarded Inc 5000 fastest growing companies, CO Companies to Watch, Denver Chamber Startup Business of the Year, APEX Emerging Tech Company of the Year, Village Capital Accelerator Top Company, numerous product awards, plus 10 regional and national Best Places to Work awards (e.g. Outside, BuiltIn, Denver Business Journal).
An avid cyclist, fly fisherman, and award-winning chocolatier. Michael has tracked wolves in Yellowstone, dove wrecks and reefs in five oceans, climbed many mountains, rode the mountain routes of the Tour de France, trained with professional teams, lived in three countries and traveled throughout 50+, but what gets him most excited is seeing individuals identify, accept, and attain their potential.
